Description:
The FIREBUG Home Fire Protection System has been designed to proactively protect a house in the event a forest fire is threatening nearby. Strategically placed sprinklers may be activated to continually soak the house and surrounding area, minimizing and possibly eliminating fire damage.
Purpose:
To safely and quickly set up a sprinkler system to protect values in the event of a Wildland Urban Interface Fire.
Definition:
Wildland Urban Interface Fire: Fire that can move from forest, bush or grassland areas into a community or from a community to adjacent wildlands. Combined together creates a forest fire.
